We started as a family business more than 100 years ago, and that culture of “people first” has been with us ever since.
Jeffrey Orleans is the Chief Executive Officer of JPOrleans, and is part of the time-honored tradition of building quality homes that have exceptional value. A third-generation homebuilder, Jeffrey carries on the legacy of his grandfather, Alfred P. Orleans, who started this family tradition over 100 years ago. Since then, together with his father and grandfather, they’ve built over 85,000 homes. “I have always followed the best advice I’ve ever heard — get the right people — the best people. I am extremely proud of the JPOrleans team.”
As CEO, Jeffrey’s personal, hands-on approach reflects his commitment and dedication to providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Jeffrey currently lives in the Philadelphia area where he’s keeping his family’s custom of giving back to the community. He is an active participant in numerous philanthropic pursuits, including the arts, education and social programs. Jeffrey has served on the Board of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Drexel University, Philadelphia Orchestra, Jewish Employment Vocational Services (JEVS) and the Orleans Technical Institute, just to name a few.
In loving memory of Tom Vesey, President and Chief Operating Officer of JPOrleans, whose legacy is etched into the very fabric of our company. For over 18 years, Tom exemplified unwavering dedication, leading with wisdom and passion alongside Jeffrey Orleans.
A second-generation homebuilder, Tom's imprint spans more than 30 illustrious years in the homebuilding and real estate development realm. At JPOrleans, he orchestrated innovation, steering his team towards crafting vibrant communities in prime locales, adorned by stellar schools and breathtaking environs.
A graduate of the University of Delaware, class of 1989, Tom's intellect was matched only by his heart. Beyond the boardroom, his greatest joy resided in his family. Tom was a husband and the loving father of four children, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Though Tom's physical presence may be absent, his spirit resonates within the very foundation of JPOrleans. His legacy guides us forward, reminding us that our pursuit of excellence is a tribute to his service. In memory of a remarkable leader, mentor, and friend, Tom Vesey's legacy lives on in every brick laid, in every community built, and in every heart he touched.
